Greenebaum and Rose provides a variety of amenities for both residents and employees who work within the Maple Lawn community. The type and quality of these comforts and conveniences extend far beyond those that are traditionally offered in mixed-use communities.
Community Center
The community center is located in the center of the Midtown District at 7600 Maple Lawn Boulevard.

A second fitness center is also available for use by people working in the Maple Lawn community. This fitness center is located in the lower level of Office Building 3, at 8161 Maple Lawn Boulevard in the Business District. It includes:

Ample Green Spaces

At least 35% of Maple Lawn's gross acreage is comprised of open space, which is planned to include:
- Plazas and Squares
- Greens
- Natural Reserves
- Playgrounds
- Numerous Pocket Parks scattered throughout the six Maple Lawn neighborhoods
- Two formal parks in the Hillside District, which serve as gathering places or, alternatively, as spots for quiet reflection. Construction of these parks will begin in Fall 2007.
- Large playing field in the Westside District that will accommodate outdoor sports activities. Construction of this field will take place in a future phase of Maple Lawn.

Four brand new, state-of-the-art Howard County schools are within walking distance from Maple Lawn - Cedar Lane School, Fulton Elementary, Lime Kiln Middle School and Reservoir High School.

Maple Lawn is proud of its blossoming shopping and dining offerings, which are planned to include more than 181,000 square feet of shops, services and eateries you won't find elsewhere. Additional retail shops slated for the Westside and Midtown Districts will include a gourmet grocery store, personal services, specialty shops, and restaurants that will join the unique mix of offering currently at Maple Lawn.
In addition to shopping at Maple Lawn, the region's top shopping destinations - including Arundel Mills, The Mall at Columbia, Mazza Gallery, Bethesda Row, Georgetown, White Flint, Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria - are all within a short drive.

A Walkable Lifestyle
The Maple Lawn vision includes offering a wide range of personal and professional services within the Maple Lawn community. The Midtown District is slated to include more than 100,000 feet of professional office space for doctors, accountants and other professionals. This medical and professional community will complement the community-oriented lifestyle of Maple Lawn.
In addition to the medical and professional office space planned for the Midtown District, Maple Lawn will have approximately 1.2 million square feet of Class A commercial office space for lease in the Business District, making the possibility of living and working in the same community a reality for many professionals.
An additional 400,000 feet of professional/commercial space is slated for the Westside District.

Getting Around Made Easy
In the spirit of a small town, Maple Lawn was designed with numerous features that make it easy to get around while also reducing the need to drive from place to place.
- A network of interconnected, pedestrian-oriented streets that are tree-lined and friendly to walk
- On-street, short-term parking adjacent to shops and businesses to facilitate quick errands
- Retail shops and offices near to one another that encourage walking or biking back-and-forth between buildings
- A regional carpooling and vanpooling program managed by Howard County
- A guaranteed, no-questions-asked Emergency Ride Home Program for both residents and employees
- Bicycle storage facilities at various locations throughout Maple Lawn
- Showers and locker facilities in the Business District office buildings in order to encourage walking, running and biking among employees
- Preferential employee parking for High Occupancy Vehicles in Maple Lawn office, medical and professional buildings (planned but not yet implemented)
- Planned bus stops connecting Maple Lawn to regularly scheduled Howard County bus services.

Maple Lawn Associations
The Maple Lawn Homeowners Association supervises the day-to-day management of Maple Lawn's residential community facilities. Each homeowner is a dues-paying member of the association. The association is responsible for the maintenance, safety and upkeep of common areas such as the Community Center and
all of the community parks and greens. The association is also responsible for organizing and sponsoring community events, addressing community concerns and enforcing community covenants and design criteria.
A second organization, the Maple Lawn Commercial Owners Association, supervises the day-to-day management of Maple Lawn's commercial community facilities. This association reviews design criteria for offices, medical and professional buildings, retail buildings and open spaces in order to ensure consistency of quality and maintenance across all of the Maple Lawn commercial districts.
