Harris Teeter to Open Second Food Market in Columbia, MD

Harris Teeter Now Under Construction in the Maple Lawn Farms Community of Howard County

Charlotte, NC - Harris Teeter is excited to announce plans to open its newest store in Columbia, MD located within the Maple Lawn Farm development, a mixed use community with commuter access into both Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD.  Scheduled to open fall 2009, it will be Harris Teeter's fourth store in the state and our second store in Howard County. 

The new Harris Teeter, located in Maple Lawn Farm's Business District, is designed to compliment the eclectic mix of authentic period architecture seen in the downtown shopping area.  Like all of our other stores, however, Harris Teeter will bring exceptional customer service, top-quality Farmers Market produce, USDA Rancher and Reserve Angus Beef, Fishermans Market Seafood, Fresh Foods Market Deli and Bakery items, along with an extensive selection of national brand and private label products to the families surrounding our new store site.
